Title: sensor warning on apexi?
Post by: evildave on February 15, 2004, 06:42:06 PM
My car drives fine but once warmed up i have the heat light on and the car stalls, if i blip the throttle the light goes off and keeps running.

The car has only done 1600 miles.

It has an apexi power fc so the heat light reflects sensor error?

all the sensor voltages appear to be correct, any ideas people?

I am still only running the apexi base map, could this be the problem?

do you mean the HEAT light on the dash? mine would come on for a split second if I try to drive the car without warming it up.

I have just converted my FD to single turbo and i\'m using a Power FC. My light has been on since I took the 2nd CAT out and just left the sensor under the car. I thought it was due to that.

From what your saying, do you think i may have wired the loom back incorrectly following the rebuild.  I have pulled all the unused sensors and solanoids off and stripped the loom back.

I dont have any instructions for my Power FC, I didnt know it had a warning system?

the heat light on the dash is replaced as a sensor warning light when the apexi power fc is fitted, probably your cat sensor.
