i have just dun a reed out on my car for the first time using the LED acros
the B+/FEN and a wire over TEN/GND put elec on car and it blicked 5 tims (KNOCK SENSER OPEN / SHORT )
can eney one help is this a bad thing ur is it normall:Hammer

it\'s on my 92 rex just looking for sum help and i am in blackburn M8 :wave

Hello mate

I would download part 6 Fuel and Emissions of the service manual from here.

It tells you how to check the wiring to the ECU for breaks on P28. It also tells you on P185 how to test the Knock sensor inplace by making links in the diagnotic port, connecting a multimeter and tapping the engine hanger with a hammer.

thaks for that m8 :cheers i will try that so u think it mite be a fulty knock sencer then. Is that a bad thing!!!!!!!!!
