Might have found a decent turbo, its a T78 33D, but the only markings regarding its size are 22cm/sq on the compressor and 17cm/sq on the turbine?
No mention of the AR number?
Does this mean or relate to anything?
Many thanks, Andy.:WaveBye
You never get a great deal of info from greddy with regards to sizes etc. What you have there is theh same details in the Greddy book.
Basically they do three sizes in the T78-33D on the exhust housing
14.0cm/sq
17.0cm/sq
24.0cm/sq
These arejust the metric terms for A/R. 17.0cm/sq is roughly .8 A/R
That makes sense, Many thanks James.
I guess that will be to small for my needs. I do like the sound of the T78 tho.
I spoke to Matt it seems only a little after you did yesterday, spooky:Giggle
I think im going with his custom manifold. And he mentioned a HKS style wastegate from fleabay.
So all i need now is the blower:2Confused
Thanks again, for all your efforts, its really appreciared.

Is a 1.06-AR turbine to small for a half bridge??
Andy, is this on your FD or FC?????
How about a GT42R ??????
yeh a 1.06 will choke on a HB past 1 BAR on T78
You could use a GT4088R watercooled jobbie. Very nice turbo we could do that in 1.19A/R
hey Gary. aint heard from you in a while. Hope that you and your family are well matey:guinness
Its for my FC, sold the FD last month.
I think your turbo is to big im afraid, looking for a fast track car:mmmm
