Good morning,

Not sure if we are the cheapest but ours cost £33.95 plus Vat,

Here is the link if you would like to order,

http://www.mazdarotaryparts.com/bfd-si006-blue-print-fuel-filterb-764-p.asp

p.s. run the car low on fuel if you can or the fuel will gravity feed out over you while your trying to change it.

Hope this helps

Anyways, like i said i wont be doing this but then again if they are gonna charge me 3 hours labour to do this might end up doing it myself to save some money....

If your handy with a spanner its not a bad job.

The most time consuimg part of it is figureing out how you actualy do it! (didnt have the advantage of ramps or light, had a jack, axel stands and a torch at night) I found it helpful to take the two side pannels of first to get better acess to the pump and the pipes, unscrew the bolts that hold the bracket then pull the clips/pipes off the filter (just remmeber wich way it faced and which pipe goes where).

MRP\'s price is cheeper than most. He\'s also right you will get some fuel spillage, I was in the position that i couldnt de-pressurize the system because of  having most of the enigne in peices at the time (love weekends!) so i got soaked once i poped the fuel lines off! thank god for my "norm" spec safety goggles. :rollin

Well, when i had the car services i asked them to do it and they said, "mmm looks like a nightmare" when i got the car back so they didn\'t do it.  Anyway, i finally got round to doing it today, weren\'t as bad as i was expecting tbh, up on the ramps, and about 3 and half hours with regular tea breaks lol, bloody freezing today...  Thanks for all the advice :Thumbs-up

I\'d look for another garage to do your servicing. If they can\'t handle the fuel filter, what else are they skipping on doing because it may look difficult or they couldn\'t be bothered.
It\'s pretty easy to service mostly yourself, saving a few quid and knowing the jobs done right.
