Title: Nearly Finished
Post by: Speedline Imports on October 16, 2007, 02:29:55 PM
Just a few pictures of the car.

I picked up my FD from the bodyshop last night after having a respray in original montego blue.

Few little bits still to do like fit side indicators and Enkei Alloys, then Im just waiting to the Carbon bonnet and RZ seats to arrive ;)

Yes Pete, I was considering a wing but Im glad didnt now as I think it would make the lines look a bit cluttered.

Enkei NT03\'s fitted and RZ seats now in the car.  Carbon bonnet looks great (not shut in the picture), but doesnt go with the montego blue so will be putting the standard bonnet back on.

Pictures a rubbish, so will have to bring it out the garage for a good clean and some decent pics.

Nice one Martin.

Did you get your twin power fitted ?  Have you had a power run ?

Hi Simon, yeah ignition amp fitted and mapped to 386rwhp at 1.0 bar.  Hit the limit of the turbo now.

I should be seeing around the same figures as you Martin I hope.  Getting a T70 put on soon, then get a power figure.

Cheers guys.

You should make a bit more than me Simon.  The T70 should take a bit more boost.  My TD07 ran out of puff at 1.0 bar.

Feels very quick on the road. Engine is very strong and capable of more power, but will need a bigger snail.  Im happy with it as it is, so wont be changing it much more.

Finally got the FD out the garage for the first time in months and took it for a good blast today. Forgot how much fun these cars are!!!!

Gave it a clean and took a couple of quick pictures (not great quality, time for a new camera I think).

Now thats with out doubt the best looking FD i\'ve seen :) Good choice with the colour too, with it being a different Standard colour it\'s as craig says "looks classy".

Its subtle but yet not, the only thing i\'d add is a set of Feed front lights instead of the 99 spec ones.

:Thumbs-up

Its finally done.

The big secondary fuel rail is in and Max has worked his magic as usual squeezing just over 400bhp at the rear wheels out the TD07 at 1.0bar.

Big thanks to the guys at REWorx.

Title: Nearly Finished
Post by: Speedline Imports on July 21, 2012, 09:00:40 PM
Sold it, went to guy who was only going to use it as a weekend/summer toy.  Not seen it since or seen it for sale anywhere so assume he still has it.

It doesn\'t look like its still alive :( had a quick check and it\'s not road worthy i.e. No record of it being currently driven on roads :(

Anyways, it was indeed a great looking car. Absolutely loved it :)
