My Sob story :’(
Well i\'ve had my RX for over 2 months now and STILL its just sitting on my drive!!
My brother said he\'d buy my car off me if I bought the RX but he\'s still not sold his car.
I bought the RX without TAX and MOT as it was off an Importer.
So I’ve got everything sorted on the RX and it ready to go up to Carl to have an Apexi put on and have it mapped to get the emissions down then mapped for driving everyday. I could have got a bent MOT but knowing me there’d be a simple problems Carl might see that I didn’t and I’d cook the engine. So I’ve always said ‘to do something once – is to do it right first time!’.
I’ve bought New plugs, New Leads, New De-cat Pipe, New ICE, New Alloys, Blitz Induction Kit, Bigger Intercooler, New cat 1 Alarm, All Samcos etc etc All waiting to go on L
Its just a bi*ch waiting and waiting for the right person to buy his car.
I could sell my car tomorrow for the money I’m looking for but I promised my brother I’d let him have it for what its cost me.
I did have some savings but I’ve bought a flat to rent out and need money for the deposit. So until I can pull £750’ish out for somewhere the RX is just going to be sitting on my drive.
So for all you people on her L I envy you all as you get to enjoy your baby while I have to see her every night wondering when I’ll have her on the road lol

Same thing happened to me when I got mine. Sitting in my garage awaiting an engine rebuild! Was so jealous of everyone else!!
Its killing me starting her up every so soften and not going anywhere.
She starts first time everytime and the engine seems very tight (34k miles) well i\'ll see what Carl thinks before bragging about getting a bargain.
I\'m in the opposite position - I\'ve got the money, but can\'t find the car!

Aw that sucks mate, but when you get it on the road you\'ll love her! I had a good run in mine last night 120 mile round trip to drop somebody off :o Plenty of quiet roads late at night.:Thumbs-up
120 miles - bugger. I live in South wales and Brecon Breacons is not far away. How i\'d love those open roads!! Haven\'t been on them for over a year since i had me Elise :\'(

im on 97km orignal engine (i think) and still going strong. i realy should get her compression tested even if its just the cheep way.

Dude sod your brother mate if he hasn\'t sold his car its not your problem! Why should you have to stare at your rx sitting there unused :D

Depends how they\'ve been treated yeah, i\'m in a UK RX on 57K miles on original engine (albeit completely standard) and still pulls really strong (touch wood)....

I wish i could do that believe me but he\'s got a baby on the way and needs a pratical car which has been well looked after. And mine 406 Coupe is mint and i\'ve done EVERYTHING on it for him.
Mate there\'s hundreds of practical cars out there, let him get one of those ;)

Well he\'s got my old Ford Racing Puma and its been up for sale for about 2 months - These are rare cars and they dont get much interest but from an Enthusiast.
Its going back up on Ebay tonight - last time some guy bidded who was 17 and the little b4st4rd couldn\'t insure it :-(
