Title: ebay RE style lights... any good?
Post by: wee_blim on October 15, 2007, 04:32:03 PM
Basically I am fed up off my popups, they needed aligning, so I spent an entire day aligning the bonnet/bumper/covers/lights, and they still didnt fit right.

Had my bodyshop guy have a go and was ok for a while, but somehow over time they have got misaligned again, and yesterday, went to switch lights on, and 1 got jammed and snapped off from where it screws in.

I want some RE lights so as I no longer have to worry about this issue. But due to funds needed elsewhere, I cant be spending £400 on headlights right now. Saw some on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RX7-RX-7-RE-Style-Halo-Headlight-S13-S14-S15-Rotary_W0QQitemZ220150162519QQihZ012QQcategoryZ23009QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem

Was wondering if anyone has tried these, or know if they are any good, and bad reports about them etc?

Cheers

The only problem i have with that advert is that each picture he shows, shows a slightly difrent set of lights! i have a feeling the ones you buy might be the ones on the yellow car as they dont look the best out of the bunch. been tempted with sleek lights or KS ones as i do enjoy the popups.

I was thinking that, or maybe none of them will be the ones they are selling, and will end up being even worse!

hopefully someone will come along and give a reason for or against these, as cant afford to chance it right now, but dont wanna drive along with a busted headlight cover either
