whats the right price....what did you have in mind?....nothing silly.......these cost over £1200 on its own.
Well ive been looking at getting a GT4088 garrett unit from the states. These are $900 then shipping and duty on top. Ive got to find a decent wastegate and manifold, hoping one will turn up on fleabay.
You know how much you paid for it and what you want for it. If they are £1200 it might be out of my price range.

Why would someone pay that much for an old-tech turbo when you can get a much quicker-spooling GT-series for less than that :confused:
dont know about old tech...it was a t88h 34d...not the old t88 like the others so i ve been told.......anyway can make massive power unlike the cheaper gt turbos.....also just coz it has GT as a prefix doesnt always mean its a BB turbo.....BB turbos are not cheap.
The R at the end of the Turbo code denotes a BB housing - most of the GTs I\'ve seen for sale are R models
A GT3582R would be good for 500 WHP and you can get them for 800 plus shipping from the states, or 1800 euro from Germany, GT40/42Rs are about the same price
ive never seen a gt35r with 500rwhp in the uk........have you?.....stertegarage a t51r and managed 527rwhp on their drag car......oh and that was on a full bridge.
You know what i find strange is the figures they get in the us running...pump gas....they always quote figures that are astronomical compared to us....and yet everybody goes by these figures.....
I myself had a gt40/35 hybrid and never saw those figures!!
As i said earlier show me a gt35r in the UK with a genuine 500rwhp and i will be very impressed.

sterte garage car is a track car not a drag car and is a half bridge on race fuel!
ok it was half bridge...always thought it was full bridge.......they have a t04z now dont they?
If my t88 34D can produce the levels of power as in Japan, then I\'m happy. They aren\'t the newest, sure but they are proven to be up to the task, otherwise no-one would run them.
