Well, the first problems had to happen sometime.. :spank
Went along to a dyno day with my local car club, the car\'s been driving fine since I got it on the road, even this morning travelling to the garage. Got the car on the rollers expecting a similar figure to what it made at Pip\'s 3 weeks ago, only to be presented with this:

Now that\'s the boost graph of two runs overlaid each other, but you can see my problem.. at 4000 - 4500 where the second turbo should be coming on, it isnt.. boost is tailing off then all of a sudden it comes back.
One run I had little boost on the 2nd turbo till 6400, the next run 5800 so it\'s not even consistent. The car was driving fine, all fluids checked and stable... sounds ok, etc.
But now theirs a noticable \'loss\' of power in that midrange section. It still drives perfect otherwise, but there is no way I could have missed it before so either something happened on the dyno or on the relativly slow drive to the garage.
light\'s fading now so I\'m not gonna bother checking under the bonnet now, but any clues / idea\'s about what to check / where to check? Cheers.
Here\'s the final flypower graph (not boosting correctly):

and compared to at pip\'s 3 weeks ago:

Bump.
I\'ve had the UIM off (when a water pipe burst the day after the above post.. lol) and while it was off I checked all the rats nest pipes under there, I replaced one, but that only connected to the underside of the UIM so it\'s not made any difference.
So that makes me presume it\'s either a solenoid or check valve error? Is there a specific one that controls something to do with the boost changeover? I\'m stabbing in the dark when it comes to diagnosing it tho.
Both turbo\'s work fine, no smoke or anything on boost, it\'s just the second turbo doesn\'t come in to 5800. Reminds me of my old prelude
Check your precontrol solenoids and the pipes to them, might have blown off.
My 7 would not hold stable boost and it turned out to be this!
It holds boost fine, .8 to 4500 and after 5800 .8 again.
the long road of checking more pipes continues.. lol Dumb question but how do you check a solenoid? Is there a set procedure?
Coule be the Charge control valve. Try disconnecting the pipe that leads towards to air filter from the CRV, if you hear the boost vent then your solenoid is knackered, this was my problem. There is a test, i\'ll post the link up later, or if you like i\'m going to be posting a simple solenoid test in the next few days. If so you\'ll need a mityvac, the pressure chambe, a boost gauge and a 12v supply.
