my f2 carbon style mirrors turned up yesterday but only trouble is i cant decide where to put them:confused:
they come with a replacement plate to go in place of triangular one by window.dead easy to fit.
or do i put them where the stock ones are but will have to redrill holes on plate supplied and bend arm down a bit to get them level.
so question is stock position or new position???

Mmm, ive only ever seen this style of mirror fitted in the stock position on an FD.  The stalk may be a bit long looking in the triangle position, if you get my drift.

Best best, sit in the car and get someone else to hold them in the 2 different places and see what one suits you best from the driving seat ;)

would prefer stalk to be shorter and had considered getting it chopped shorter but what a pain in the a**e ,very impatient i am so want to do them asap but once i bend them theres no going back

ive voted stock position, cos they seem to be in character there, but now ive seen more pics i cant really decide myself.

been out drinking since 6pm so rather bladdereed now.got 10 days off and more lager on the cards so need to know where 2 put em when i sobre up:3Confused

looks like they r going in stock position then!!
so will have 2 bend arms 2 make them look level,more work 4 me then lol and fit turbo timer then re-do ice install in boot as 2 heavy.
will post pics when all done later on this week.
