Title: Removing Intake...
Post by: SmbFD3S on October 10, 2007, 06:50:10 PM
Hey guys,

Not sure if i\'m being a bit thick here but had a search through the forums and can\'t find anything specific...

Basically, i\'m planning to change the vacuum pipes in the rats nest and need to know a couple of things.

Can the intake manifold be taken off without draining anything? i.e. cooling system and oil and does the fuel system need depressurising first?

Basically i want to minimise the work so if i dont have to drain anything that would be good or if there\'s a walk through of the procedure anywhere that would also be a benefit.

Thanks in advance,

Scott

I also bought some of those Viton check valves from the USA as i\'m fairly sure at least one has gone, and may aswell change them while i\'m in there....
