Title: We have Heat!!!! Thx RX Motors!!!!
Post by: Rixio on October 09, 2007, 11:55:01 PM
After over a year without a heater...WE HAVE HEAT!!!! I really have to thank Matt @ RX Motors for the great job he did on the heater matrix today. (Although i do have 3 minor rattles now :Hammer )

After a 8 hour drive in sh!tty sh!tty weather from home to Tims with the windows steamed up all the way down...blasting COLD air into the cabin just to be able to see!

It was well worth the manic drive just to see actual human, wriggle, writhe & squirm actually inside of the FD dashboard :Laugh

Anyway it has to be a world record! 2 Hours 12 mins for a Heater matrix replacement and Aircon matrix ditch...

:cheers Big up Matt!!:cheers

Was it just the heater matrix o-rings Rixio? I replaced the o-ring sin the stealth on Friday and it turns out the actual matrix is split:rolleyes: Managed to take it out again in 45mins, just waiting for our spare matrix to arrive in the post:rolleyes: :Snoring

Oi them 5 jumpers make me look the same size as you! So i have to wear em to not look out of place!

Paul, it was the actual matrix...but cant really be sure because its ages since i blocked the pipes off...We did a pressure test on it but it was solid. The only other thing was a massive stain on the matrix itself where coolant had covered it...
