Title: Side light question
Post by: moosey on October 09, 2007, 09:49:08 PM
So one of my side lights was out and since I had her in for her 3k mile oil change i asked the guys to sort me a new bulb. Unfortunately they reported that the bulb holder itself is broken (how that could happen I can only wonder).
The trouble is, I\'ve got 99 spec sidelights and the local Mazda dealership have only a parts inventory  up to 94.
According to their diagrams there is a wire with a plug on one end and the bulb holders on the other end. My question to you fine people is, would that part be the same for 99 spec lights.
I\'m guessing some of you folks that have switched front ends and side lights might know if the wiring and bulb holders from a 92 car will fit into the 99 spec sidelights.
Thanks for your help.

think the pre 99 spec light bulb holders do fit.  am sure someone can confirm.  might be a difference between genuine and replica 99 spec light
