Title: plz help. annoying light!
Post by: jamie_supra on October 05, 2007, 07:53:48 PM
Right plz help. have a RX7 single turbo. Blew the engine so had the base engine romoved and swapped with a un broken one.
engine is fine!!

However the seat belt light is flashing on and off about once a second contunually whether the seat belt is plugged in or not! Only happens when the ignition is on.way to describe it is similar to an indicator in timeing!

also found that the electric windows dont work properly... they \'pulse\' open or closed in beat to the flashing seat belt light rather than going up and down smoothly. However when i press the cliffod alarm to lock the car... if the windows are open.. they close smoothly as they once did!

any ideas?????

I had exactly the same on my car mate for about a year!
You need to replace the small black relay box underneath the dash on the drivers side (as you sit in the car it is directly above your knees) it\'s usually referred to as the F100 box.
This controls various warning lights/buzzers & also the elec windows. Replace it (about £25 2nd hand) and it will deffinatly solve all the problems!
