Title: Exhausts......
Post by: Casanova21 on October 04, 2007, 08:58:56 PM
im in the process of looking around for a new catback exhaust for the rex, but not sure which 1 to go for. i want a serious roar from the exhaust, but want to know what is the best 4 sound (throaty, raspy etc)

been looking at the HKS Hi-Power range, but what differences r there in noise between the hi-power and the silent hi-power??

what in your opinions is the best for looks performance and sound??

Blitz Nur Spec all the way mate. best all round performer, and a great roaring sound, and flames galore!
Very well made, looks great too.

not too keen on the HKS ones, sound a bit raspy in my opinion (from what I have heard on other FD\'s) Not too sure on the differences between them though. I assume the silent high power comes with either a bung (of sort) or maybe an extra silencer/booster in the exhaust sections.

will my rex spit flames with only a catback exhaust and her current mods? beacause that would b awesome!!!

the engine mods so far are

Hurley Engineering uprated sports engine
HKS Twin induction kits
port polished
uprated rotor tips and apex seals

Love it... possibly one of the best sounding exhausts I\'ve ever heard on any car.

i had a cat back made up for 200, back box was made by them. Mines a N/a Fc and my god it roars spits some good flames too. Mind you be carefull and make sure theres a decent gap between the bumper and back box, mine melted my bumper :S luckly to a shape which was perfect. :)
