Title: SMIC Ducting.
Post by: Matt_K on October 02, 2007, 12:43:27 PM
When my car was being mapped, It was noted because of the lack of SMIC ducting, Intake temps were, by the end of the mapping session fairly high.

I\'m still waiting for the regstration documents to come back to me, so for the time being it\'s still sat doing nothing and an ideal opportunity to make some ducting for it.

I work for a engineering company so making it shouldn\'t be a problem, but the design is...

I\'ve many pics of SMIC\'s with ducting from the top which isn\'t a problem, for example, but it doesnt really tell me where it\'s going or what\'s happening underneath: http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=26400&d=1167322960

Thanks.

No worries ended up like that when i had an XSpower IC on squashed the filters - dumped it in favour of the greddy one then got filters replaced.
over the top but only shallow lips at side
