hi all, glad to say i\'m now a full member!!:Tongue1

i\'m new to the forum and to the rotary world.  i was always facinated by the rx7 as a kid, so a couple of weeks ago i sold the GTIR and bought an \'93 FD.  its pretty standard, just got straight through exhaust, induction kit and cusco coil overs.  i got it reasonably cheap as its done 52000 miles.  just wanted to know what the best mods i should start with are, wheres the best places to get it worked on, and most importantly what is better single or twin turbo?

cheers

chris

Hi and welcome. If your running the stock ECU then you really need to look at that before any more mods. Single or twin depends a lot on what you want out of the car and how/ where you want to use it. Single does give a lot more reliability and if you use a smallish one no lag as such. A big single for mega HP and your going to get lag. In this i am assuming its a stock engine and not already ported.

no its not ported, using it on the road really and the odd trackday. i\'d be happy with 330hp. what ECU do you recomend? i saw that motec do one especially for rotary engines.

It really depends on who you want to tune it and what they are happy tuning with.
