Title: More 3rd Gen Questions
Post by: MintyFresh on February 12, 2004, 10:09:56 AM
hey,

I went and looked at my first RX yesterday, and what an experience.
The guy took us for a drive and keen to show what the car was capable of hammered it(when it was warm of course) and i couldnt believe the pickup.  I thought my 200sx was quick, but its nothing compared to a \'7.  And the endless amounts of grip it seemed to have.  To say i was impressed is an understatement.

anyways, the questions which have probably been asked before.

what size turbo\'s does the car have?

do all cars have a boost gauge behind the steering wheel as standard?

is there a second hand market for rear seats?  is it easy to change from having rear seats, to the standard \'no seats\' look?

Thanks

Minty

Not a question for me im afraid

do all cars have a boost gauge behind the steering wheel as standard?

No - This sounds like the RE Amemiya gauge pod.  I have one on mine, they are very good.

is there a second hand market for rear seats? is it easy to change from having rear seats, to the standard \'no seats\' look?

Not really, because most people want the buckets instead of seats.  I have heard that seats sell in the US but couldnt confirm.  Having looked at the buckets, I think I like seats as you can still throw your stuff in them and carry a passenger if needed.  Ive been in the back, its not too grim for short trips.

The turbos are small Hitarchi (SP????) HT10\'s or HT12\'s from memory, thats why we need two of them. ;)

Lee has answered the rest.
