Title: Is it possible to have two boost settings?
Post by: juzzyp on October 01, 2007, 08:36:06 AM
I\'m slowly working through my RX7 bits to do and I\'ve reached this point on my list.

My car is running the Apexi PFC Commander, uprated fuel pump, 850cc injectors with twin greddy turbos and intercooler (I think!?)

Will I need to get a seperate boost controller as I\'d like one settings for 6psi and another for full whack.

Is this possible with the PFC or will I need a seperate box?

On my old impreza, I had a turbosmart boost controller, with high and low level boost settings. Worked a treat... Flick of the switch! lol

Go for a Greddy Profec B II, thats what most high power boys in this country run, Hi and Low boost settings, used with the Apexi just get it mapped, the two different boost settings will use different cells of the map so you just need a good tuner to map those cells
