Title: quick question about suspension removal
Post by: wee_blim on September 30, 2007, 12:43:26 PM
Is it possible to remove/replace standard/aftermarket suspension on the front without removing the top wishbone? I.e. will the shock be short enough with the spring attached to wiggle out from it?

cheers

If you are lowering the height of the car then you would probably need it tracked again anyway. Mark out the dialed faces when you remove it and it should be similar to where it was before.

You need to undo the roll bar links and the upper wish bone from the body so you can lay back the upright and slide the strut up through the wishbone

Hope this helps

As said, not a chance without removing the upper wishbone. But it\'s only 2 bolts per side so not very hard at all.
