Title: Has Anybody Made A Claim On AON ??
Post by: buckman67 on September 28, 2007, 11:41:10 AM
My insurance is due next month and after reading all the positives about AON on this forum I thought I give them a bell. I\'ve been with Adrian Flux for a number of years on classic car policy\'s but they quoted me £647  ( Full Comp. 3000mls, brkdown and agreed value ) for next year which is the most I,ve paid in 20 odd years for what is a summer weekend car .  Just got off the phone with AON who quoted me £427 for the same policy + 2000 miles :yes. Question is, are they, if the worst happens,  a good company to claim off ?? Do you get your entiltled payout without a war ??
The quote looks excellent, but its only as good as the AON customer service ??

Any happy ( or unhappy ) claimers out there ?

Bob

Same move as we made, A Flux to AON for similar price differential.
Never had to claim on AON but I can report that they are a very big group in commercial insurance (for what that\'s worth).

Rang Adrian Flux to cancel my renewal ( they quoted me £647 ). Got the usual response, why?? I stated AON have quoted me £429 for the same policy +2000mls.
He went away for 2 minutes and came back with a price of £417 ( FComp, brkdwn, 5000mls, £350 excess ) :wiggle.
You could ask, why couldn\'t Adrian Flux offer me that price initially, but hey its business I guess. it\'s our job to not get complacent and shop around.:Thumbs-up

Had a claim with AON last year. Had no problem they paid out in just three weeks with no quibbles. Im insured with them again now as even after the claim they offered me the best deal on my new rx.
