Title: Heating / AIR Con
Post by: imebgo on September 26, 2007, 04:05:52 PM
Im putting my project car back together after painting the engine bay.  This involved removing the wiring harness Air Con etc...

The manual doesnt seem to be clear on these units behind the dash, but from left to right in the dashbaord, it looks like

FAN -> AIR CON -> HEATER

So I would need to reinstall the fan, and aircon to bridge the gap to the heater?  I assume I can leave the  air con pipes of becuase I wont be putting the pump in there.

Te heater looks like it has two pipes going to the engine bay, I have removed these and forgotten how they go back, can anyone explain the purpose so I can reinstall?

Thanks In Advance, James

The pipes on the heater take water from the rad so the heater gets, er... hot.
They got through the two holes in the firewall, one hoosk into the pipe that goes around the back of the engine, one goes to a pipe that runs into the engine block just below to the side of the oil filter. Can\'t remember which one was which though and my heater and pipes are either in a box in a different garage or in the bin.
