I think Camden superchargers offer a carb that will work with the supercharger kit...

I really can\'t comment Mark - I don\'t know enough about it, is it a camden kit?

Have a look on ausrotary and rx7club, think its more of the blow threw setup but not entirely sure. Not really sure about it though.

depending on the manifolds you could stick your webber on it draw through style.   For ease an SU will also do the trick.

If you use a webber you will need a sealed one suitable for turbo applications like the old lotus esprit.  Or you can make a box for it but it get mor complicated and more difficult to tune.

Just stick a turbo II engine in it if you want power and arnt fussy about being different.

i have a turbo hat and was thinking of going turbo with the carb,
its a rock and a hard place though i want more power but if im going to swap engines and go for more extensive work i may as well go gen 3 (want to get one when we move in a year or 2) guess its the old chicken and egg!

Do you have the Egi engine in now though ?? Supposed to be hard to run boost on too.

all the vw boys that run webers and turbos have no problems after the carb has been modified. Look up anvw tuner website John Marr racing. I htink that is how you spell his last name? JMR anyhow. a bit of info on the  site about pressurising the weber carb anyhow.
 cheers, michael.

Right now it\'s about 200 rwhp (250 @ the flywheel). Runs mid to high 14\'s in the 1/4.  With the nitrous it would have been 13\'s, just never got it done since the motor didn\'t go in until mid july. Next years plan involves twincharging and nitrous.

Hi 84stock...nice setup-are you willing to share any more details about it like where you sourced the charger, pully size,drivability..........I don\'t know a great deal about the in\'s and out\'s of supercharging apart from the basics so anything you could share would be great as I\'m looking at different options for the winter tear down.:cheers

Cheers

So, so, soooo much to tell. Bottom line, awesome driveability on the street. Immediate boost response and great torque. But, you\'ll never see over 200 hp and it doesn\'t create a racecar, just a good street car. If you want power, dollar for dollar you can\'t beat a turbo.

Fair play mate.....I\'m in a slightly different position anyhow as I want to stay 12a really, but I think it\'s looking like the turbo route will be the best way to go. If I was going to change block type aswell then ultimately I\'d love to have a setup like a chap on the US forum who I expect you\'re familiar with called ductape with his REW SA, I love that machine! Anyhow, sorry to hijack a touch here! Keep us posted on any progress or changes you make in the future.

Don\'t feel hijacked at all. I say get a good T3 (like off a merkur), fmic (perhaps a volvo unit), find a 12at exhaust manifold on ebay (has the T3 flange), lock the dizzy and blow through either an edlebrock on a racing beat manifold or a weber sidedraft. Could see 170 rwhp with a safe 10psi.

Plans for mine involve blowing thru the charger with a td08, t51 etc type turbo for a true and first twincharged rotary.

hay bro this rx7king what type of supercharger is it as  iv got a blown s2 rx7 and i had it with a 750 double pumper and it was very hard to get it to run right as we tried 3 times and the motor kept blowing up .so what we when and done is fuel injected it and then it ran like a dream

I run a 7" camden supercharger. I\'ve run a few diff carb ranging from a 600 holley to a 850 holley. My favorite is a 650 edelbrock. What are you suing for a standalone. Did you have it dyno\'d? Any video clips?

Hi Tim.  You should take a look at my 12AT.  I\'m well pleased with it.  Seems totally reliable & very drivable.  I\'d reccomend it.

They are far to big Gary.
The CFM is way to much for a two rotor engine.
Great for a big block Chevy though.

just another one for you :)
it has a 1000CFM throttle body, a 4-71 GMC blower on a 13B Monster J-Port
(http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/bb296/rotor_dude/cort22a.jpg)

i love blowers :)

the best blower is the screw type the rail drag racers use as the GMC can beat the air and heat it up to much
