Title: Rat Nest and Inlet manifold Piping
Post by: leeroy_25 on September 22, 2007, 07:47:33 PM
I have made a start sorting out my new motor and seeing what\'s missing.

I noticed a couple of areas that I am not sure whether there should be pipes connected to or not.. please take a look and let me know if you can help..

looking into the rats nest from the back of the engine I can see three pipes with nothing on.. 1 at the opening:

and two right in under the inlet manifold.

also there are two open stubs on the side of the inlet manifold. one big and one small..
I am guessing the small one is for the boost guage? where does the big one go?

Thank you

Big one is for the brake servo.

The little ones for the dump valve. The blocked off nipple is used for boost gauge

Two under the manifold aren\'t used....just find the vac diagram on here somewhere...will tell you everything.
