Title: Boost control?
Post by: Kevin on September 19, 2007, 10:38:56 AM
Right currently I have on my car a Kakimoto exhaust, but i\'ve ordered a greddy downpipe (80mm) and straight through mid pipe which should be here in a few days.

Now i\'ve been told that i may experience some boost spikes obviously due to it being basically a straight through system.  Now my question is will the PowerFC properly mapped be able to control the how the boost behaves?.... I think i\'ve heard carl? say this before?

If not i\'ve got an AVC-r lying around the garage somewhere which I was planning to put on when I went single but i\'ll use it if the powerFC will struggle.

Power FC on standard twins, mapped properly should have no problem :)
