Hi guys, new here.
Currently own a Clio 172 Cup, which I only use for trackdays, and want to move onto an RX-7.
Thing is do I go for a standard one? I really want something with about 350bhp. Are modified ones too risky to buy?
Do I import one or just get one from the UK? How much cheaper is it if imported, is it worth taking the risk?
I\'ll probably go for one that has already been rebuilt, I take it most of you would do the same?
Got about £6000-£7000 to spend.

buy 1 off here where you can read about its history especialy rebuild details.I searched on here when moving from an EVO V,got one virtualy standard then started to chuck £ at it so was as i wanted it - still not quite there.If you want 350 (assume atw) will need to go single as not many twins make that power,black naturaly.

Don\'t worry about year, concentrate on finding one thats been rebuilt and has much of the work already done (ie Power FC, decent exhaust and induction, good quality suspension etc)

If you want 350 atw then its a lot cheaper to buy one that\'s already there as you\'ll spend a fair bit on parts to achieve that from standard. Nothing wrong with importing by the way, just stick to a trusted importer like Newera above, or there are others.

is there any dealer of these in cambridgeshire, would just like to go and test drive a few to see what they drive like first.
im selling the clio and even when its gone, im not really stuck without a car.
just want to make sure i get a decent rex, so don\'t have to spend 1000\'s on it in the first year.
i\'m also growing on silver, but it just look so awesome in black!
