Title: whats this wire?
Post by: rico2k_uk on September 15, 2007, 02:05:48 PM
i have a led rear brake light in my re spoiler and its not wired up. found a white block connector behind the plastic moulding at the front of the boot (nearest bumper). its 2 wires but a 4pin block. connected the led light in there and the light lit up nicely - but there was no brake lights on! wire it the other way around and nothing happened.

where would the brake light be for this as i presume the standard spoiler included a high level brake light?

your best bet is to get a friend to sit in the boot with a multi-meter in the connector

and you press everything you can on the dash ( and peddles ) and see if it gets voltage

this would give you a better idea

is it a jap or UK car ??
