Hi there!
When was the car last serviced? it may be a good idea to have it compression tested.
If the compression is ok, then it may need an injector clean etc. etc.
it has never been compresion tested but it runs strong and when the fuse is pulled out and cranked for a minute i can put the fuse back and it will start??
Hmmm - sounds odd, have you read through this thread?

It has quite a lot of good information on it, it does sound like your engine may be tired? how many miles?
I have got an 89 noon turbo and i was told by previous owner of the same problem as you. My car have a switch fitted that stops fuel getting in the engine. He said to switch it, when ever im parked facing downhill. So i do, but also use it as a handy imobiliser, but maybe you should get one of those. Hurley fitted the one to mine some 5 years ago, as i found the receipt.
thanks for the help thread was most helpfull and the car has 119000 but it tuns like a charm but it does have the cold plugs in it i pulled them to check so it may be the prob along with the injectors leaking
