I been looking for a crome half roll cage for my rex but cant find anywhere, does anyone know where i can get one from?
cheers gary
Why half??? Dont do it...get a full cage, it leads to false hopes!
There are plenty of UK company\'s that can supply a full cage, beit bolt in or weld in
I want a half cage because i use the car quite alot and still want it to be comfortable, i would concider a full cage tho just need to know where to get one from
Andy Robinson Race cars, just off Sherfield on Loddon,Nr basingstoke. They make brilliant roll cages.....:god seen their welding and construction........10\\10
and make sure you get the padding for the cage!! heaven fordbid you roll it without the padding in place!!
Or get a Cusco cage. We supply them from 4 point to 12 point. Bolt in too, available in chromoly or safety 21 steel. Inquire on //www.neweraparts.com :)
Cheers
Miguel
Custom cages did mine, along with Brunswicks....and they are going to be doing the next 2 cars later in the year. So many people have commented how good they are! Certainly make you feel safe!!!
Also check your insurance!!!! You might find it invalidates it by having the cage in place....why would you want it if you are not racing is the usual thing!
Oh yes and the padding is very important
Come to think of it so is fully stipping out the car, along with fitting bucket seats, harnesses, firesystem.....see you on the grid soon :D
Dont be frugal on the padding !!!!!!!!! I was and still got concussed, helmet made contact with roll cage and padding was not adequote.........:o
