Title: Alarms
Post by: Timmy on September 13, 2007, 06:56:07 PM
I\'ve heard fitting a alarm system can be a problem on raotary\'s as for some unknown reason they can interfere with the performance. Anyway can anyone recommend a Cat 1 and turbo timer compatable system?
The only one i know that fits the criteria is a Clifford concept 650 has anyone had expierance with one a rotary?
Please post your views and expireances.

Thanks
Timmy

Title: fd and alarms with turbo timer.

hi, i have a clifford concept 650 fitted to my fd( on when i got it) and apart from a few minor programming probs its been ok. i am an auto electrician by trade and fitted a lazerline cat 1 on my mates fd ok. any alarm fitted properly should not affect the fd any more or less than any other car. any alarm can be made to work with a turbo timer- i was quoted 150 for the proper box to use my clifford with a turbo timer but am to tight so used a 5 pin relay and diode, if you get to that stage i will send you the info on how to fit it , jon.
