Title: Photos!

Just taken some photos this evening.  The results spur me on to wanting a decent camera and a tripod, but considering the equipment these arnt bad.

Is laying on the floor one of your hobbies? Only joking, you could be the clubs official photographer.

I\'m hoping to bring my video camera tomorrow night - it has night vision!  But the problem with that is that all the cars will look green.

Yeah most of those were taken on the floor

Without a tripod theres little alternative.  Im definatly going to buy one I think.  I did have others not from the floor but they just blur as with the dark you cant keep it still enough for the shutter speed.

Your cars looking sweet lee!
you and your new camera could have a stand at rotorstock!!
profesional photographs of ya rex, i sense big bucks!
gutted i can\'t go tomorrow night but i\'ve choose to take me car off the road untill the petrol problems sorted so its booked in for reworx in a fortnights time!
i had a look at doing it myself and bottled it bigtime!
i think the only way to get it there is to drive there and get a train home (killa)!
i\'m gonna get a aftermarket ecu and a intercooler fitted while its down there,so i\'m saving me pennys!:)

Cheers Tom!

Not sure I can stretch to a new camera as I dont have much money :( .  If I were you id get a friend to go with you and get a lift home, but then I hate trains.

Just uploaded the full size pic of the best one, mainly so I can use it as wallpaper at work tomorrow.

Dont worry lee,

I still take poor pics with a decent camera :p

At least you can make excuses with a shit camera.  :rollin

I was using my 6mpix SLR with a decent flash, But I didnt have a tripod with. Still need a tri for night time.

This was daikoku,
You can see Migels car beside and a 9sec skyline behind.

Russ.

Mine were taken without flash, as it spoils the night shots a little imho.  If its too dark then you have no choice.  Thats why I tried to go to places with a little lighting.

Russ, did you see the pic I posted of your in the spotted section when I found your car at Daikoku a couple of weeks ago on another forum!

Hi Lee,

some people will say NO! but i reckon your rx will look stunning with a different rear spoiler?;)

Just took mine out for a little spin, every fool trying to race, MR2,Clio williams, and get this a SAXO hmmmmmm no point!!:rollin

Only went to halfords to get some engine oil and coolant!!!

It depends on the spoiler.  I really like the Carbon GT ones, but on this colour I dont think it would go and hence I havnt got one.  Infact most the spoiler I can think of just dont seem to go with this colour, so if anything I would probably de-spoiler.

I would love to get some aero, but it just cant stand up to track work very well and I couldnt afford to keep repairing it so its going to stay looking pretty much like that.  I find the Mazda skirts and rear flaps finish them quite well though.

Cheers

Oh races, all that seems to want to race me these days is Scoobs...

Yea the scoobies make good racing but far too many of them about to bother with!!!

Too much petrol cost too:(

I\'ll try and pop down to one of your meets sometime if i can, realistically though only weekends any good for me, i have the purple rx 460bhp - not yet dyno\'d b4 you ask but bloody quick i tell ya:eek:

I think the majority of us will meet up at rotorstock:wave :wave :wave

I went and bought a cheapo tripod.  Just quickly went to test it.  Pretty pleased so far (even if I did only take 3 pics).

Should be able to get some nice ones now.

Haha yeah, its not intentional just that at night its nigh on impossable to hold it still enough.  The slightest shake will blur.

Have a tripod now, so its not a problem.
