Title: Insuring a single turbo import
Post by: jdmjay on September 12, 2007, 07:32:28 PM
Today ive been busy on the phone getting quotes.
I have 5 yrs no claims end of next month,  and im 23. Currently insured on my 200sx with adrian flux.
So 1994 rx7 FD 2600cc import with single turbo, FMIC, filter, exhaust, apexi management, coilovers gets these results:
Adrian flux(after being passed to 6 different people!)-£2803:reallymad
Noel Dazley- no qoute
A Plan- no quote
Firebond- no quote bcause its an import, they said it\'d be fine with those mods and uk spec:xconfused
Hyperormance- £1900 ish they reckoned but were closing and said theyd process it tomorrow.

Got what id say a good quote from a number i found on this site, cant remember the name, summit to do with Thatcham?? anyways they got me £1455. (01635874646) they reckon its only because ive been driving my 200 for 2 years and have a bit of experiance with rwd modified cars they got me that quote.
May try sky tomoz but last year they wouldnt quote me on the 200 with mods, so dunno if its worth it? any others that are good for young drivers?
