Rotary! Rotary, Rotary!!!!!
They had a single rotor I believe
a single one - crickey and its a 1,599 cc car !
might be wrong on that, the pic looks like a twin rotor
looks like a twin rotor to me! the blue one is in chorley grinder! defo think its worth you buying and then renting a garage!!
if it had of been a LOT cheaper - i could have been tempted
shame it wasnt a 99p start
might keep an eye on it - and see if it sells or not
and we are trying to move house - so another car maybe isnt the best idea
£500 and no bids - scary
im tempted to mail him just to go and have a look at it :D
just mailed him to see if i can have a nosey - never seen one in the flesh - so it would be nice :D
who knows - might get a cheap car out of it :D
Stu
did you get anywhere with this stu? i have many ro80\'s and can sing their praises till the cows come home. you\'ll not find another car of that era that you can drive all day at 110mph + (where legal of course ;) ) in complete safety and stability with four pot calipers, discs all round, power assisted rack & pinion steering and independent suspension. the engine is smoother than the mazda units and becomes nothing more than a wine at high speed. they have a twin rotor 995cc unit. i can help anyone with parts or technical advise that may be considering a ro80. £500 seems like a good deal to me, especially if it\'s on your doorstep.
i think he still has it - not been intouch with him for a while
thing is - do i need another project ?
you see stu now tha you are movinghouse it seems like he perfet time ot get a house wth a biggarage!!! think you need a talking to about your priorities!!!!!! :)
Dont 12a\'s go into these as well without too much hssle?
hers, michael.

If it is the original block it isn\'t a 10a or 12a as they were mazda units and NSU made their own rotary engine.
Great cars, a little weird to look at but proper retro cool!:chat :D
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :D
i really dont need more projects and more cars that i struggle to keep
now if i had a big 4 car garage then there would be no question :D
