1.porting???
1.uprated injectors???
2.uprated fuel pump???
4.what boost he is running at???

i know its most likely b*ll**** but you neve know.

Yes mate with more power to come......note I\'m still only on an extended street port.
Down to ReWORX on the 20th to sort out me W/Gate spring from 0.8 to a 1 bar one. Then a remap and that should make it 500bhp at the rear wheels on pump fuel. That will then be a target reached.:Party :Party :Party

Sounds awesome mate, i seen your car up at trax but didnt see you about, i was parked over with another club this year.  We will have to have another cheddar meet at some point aswell as that was good next time, see if we can get a few more rotaries out and make some more kids scream :yes

430 is doable on twins guys..... there is one on the site somwhere!! although they would have to be the uprated aftermarket High flow twins with all the other mods to boot!!

Realistically thats properly more like 330 if that for the simple reason it doesn\'t say anything about the ECU which the tag "Mapped in japan" tends to mean it has a Chipped stock ecu, I may be wrong but if it did have a Power FC looking at the Add i think it would say, but then i get the idea this guy doesn\'t know allot about the car so that 430 is most properly a Miss educated guess??? Who knows it may have Knightsport Twins or something tweaked on there but reading between the lines the guy has fitted a Cheap after market alloy IC so he properly got it with the Stock one still on?? so i\'d bet the cars more on the stock side with a few bits hes put on himself.

Lets put it this way, if i went to buy that car and the HP figure was a key element i\'d want to see the Rolling road print out where he has got his Figures from, its just a sales pitch to get some Chav who\'s dazzled by the Fast and Furious to hand over his cash.

Jono

I would say its quite easily doable even with the normal twins.

apexi power pc
big street port
1600cc injectors
higher flow fuel pump
full system, decat, downpipe
uprated intercooler, v mount or front mount
water injection
mapped to 1.1 bar, could even push 1.2 bar

probably a few other bits im forgetting lol

this is the spec im looking at, all done apart from water injection and mapping to 1.1 bar but once all that is done shouldnt be too far off 430bhp @ fly and still on the standard 1992 turbos

Funnily enough one of them will probably fall for it, they take what is written as true if they dont know sod all about the car, and if it looks nice then surely it must be high power :o

I think there is more to it than bits, you have to have a Tuner that really knows there Stuff (not what they call a Safe Tuner), But in my neck of the woods 1 bar is the Limit on Stock twins before you see problems, 430 may well be Doable buy for how long? well your guess is as good as mine but you ain\'t talking years.

A mate of Mine had his Fd set up at 1 bar (trackdays and such) and it lasted a year before it started kicking blue smoke out on overrun so he went single.

Well we will soon see, mines running 1 bar at mo then upto 1.1 bar when the water injection is fitted, ive had it at 1 bar for 6 months now so will have to see how long it lasts

and my tuner is very good, and certainly knows his stuff :p

Lots of yanks run 350whp safely and have done for a year or so before the turbos eventually fail...
