Title: Ordering a set of wheels.. Need sizes help...
Post by: Alex T on September 10, 2007, 09:50:18 AM
Hi,

I\'m ordering a set of 18" TSW\'s, 9.5 rear, 8.5 fronts.
Looking at the fittings calculator, in the sticky thread. Am I right in assuming I need to order the following:

All 5x114.3 PCD.

Front, 8.5x18" Offset: ET 38
Tyres, 235/35/R18

Rear, 9.5X18" Offset ET 38
Tyres, 265/40/18

1) I thought the two Offsets were different when going split sizes?
2) Tyre sizes and profiles, is that right?

All on standard arches, car is lowered 40mm.

Thanks!
Dont want to order wrong ones! LOL

38 should be fine, in this pic I have 18x9.5 w/35 rear and 18x8.5 w/32 front I think:

so, wheer your offsets both have lower numbers than the 38 i\'m thinking of, does this make them appear wider than what mine would?

Also, what prof tyres are u running front n back?

Thanks mate!!

I notice you say in another recent thread, that your rears are ET38?

Yep I can\'t remember now, I\'m going to check the email from Kei Racing when I get home but I think they maybe 35 at the rear. But yep if you got 38 they\'d be 3mm further in than mine which would still look fine.

Front tyres I believe are 225/35 and rears are 265/35 :)
