You guessd it guys, My FD is still overboosting like a little pregnant fish!!
I\'ve checked the actuator & it\'s opperating (moving with no probs), I\'ve bipassed the boost controller now, by putting the pressure pipe direct to the wastgate & capped the outlet pipe from the wastgate, so in theory it should only go to 0.6 bar (as the Std spring is 0.5) no matter what happens anywhere else!!!
But again it\'s over boosting!! pressure is stable at about 0.68bar (8psi) on primary & secondry turbo, but when it hits about 5000rpm all hell breaks loose and your up to anything from 1 bar to 1.1 (obviously fuel cut) & I back the hell off as I don\'t want to detanat anything just yet!!!
Any sujestions guys?? I\'ll take the inspection plate off to see if all is Ok on the wastgat valve, but what do you intelegent lot think (tuners welcom to throw advice too!!)
Cheers

you cant just take out the boost controller and replace with pipes. as standard the two pipes at the top of the two actuators on the front of the turbo pack have pills inside to stop this.
problem solved.
you\'re welcome :p
so if your got a electronic valve control in the car, do you still need the pills in both pipes, or should the pill have been removed when they put the elec valve boost thing in the car
What do these pill things do then??? do they restrict the flow, steady the flow or what??? Before the mods it was boosting a solid 0.8 bar continuously!!
How much are thay & where can I get them from??

depends on the type of controller. but yes you are getting rid of a restriction to one to allow you new boost control (a valve) to do its job variably (if thats a word).
thanks m4drx thats what i was thinking
sounds like the problems mines having, its spiking :S pips sorting it the noo.. tiz a strange one...
