Can someone tell me how this system works please, what controls it and what it\'s linked to?
Cheers Bob

Used in a Nitrous system to \'purge\' the system of old gas. If the system is not purged, when the nitrous is activated the engine will have a momentary rich spot, slowing acceleration.

II would guess it\'s for the petrol fumes in the fuel tank, under certain circumstance the ecu will decide to open the solenoid and vent the fumes from the charcoal canister into the inlet.

I\'ve removed mine with no difference at all. It just vent fumes from tank to the inlet manifold. It dont even smell of fumes inside the engine bay

Be sure to block off any plug on the inlet manifold though
