Title: Idler arm bushes
Post by: daverey on September 08, 2007, 11:29:28 PM
Hi
I have just ordered new idler arm bushes for my car and I am sure I read that these have to be packed with grease, but I cant find where I read this, can anyone shed any light on this. I am a bit puzzled as I thought grease would eat away the bushes.

They come with the correct lube, very sticky stuff. You need to torque it up and squeeze them quite hard, there is a torque setting somewhere.

Thinking of upgrading to spherical bushes from pineapple racing.

Parts arrived yesterday, but no lub/grease, I have managed to find out that the originals have a lithium grease.
