Title: SMIC Intercooler.. Which one?
Post by: leeroy_25 on September 06, 2007, 09:24:08 PM
Looking at getting an intercooler for my little project FD. Have been advise FMIC is not the route to go.. had just found a nice looking Greddy FMIC too!
Being that I cannot afford the Prefered V-mount route I am left with SMIC configuration. I found one on ebay made by XS Power.. Is this any good or to be steered clear of? Also what are WGT ones like?
Cheers

Xs power ones are ok but you need to make some ducting they suffer from heat soak., but I think thats the same for any SMIC

I have one for sale £40 delivered but I don`t have the piping for it but you can easily buy some on ebay

Any chance of delivering the bumper? I will skip the SMIC.. I have heard the XS Power ones are not so good? Got any side skirts?

Cheers

No side skirts I\'m afraid. Could deliver the bumper, where abouts are you? How much would you be prepared to pay for delivery?

Ok, well bought it as orignally wanted to update the front end, bought the lights as well. Decided to stay standard, and keep the original look.
Its brand new, hasnt been fitted.
