Title: FC & FD wheel fitment
Post by: Don Pamponi on September 05, 2007, 10:37:49 PM
I\'m just about to get an FC front end grafted on to my FB (for the steering rack, bigger brakes etc)

I will then be using FC 5 stud hubs & wondering if these are the same fitment as FD hubs?

I need new wheels you see & I\'m wondering if I can have RX8 jobies or someone\'s cast off FC/FD wheels.

I know nothing about these newfangled 2nd & 3rd gens.....

Hi Tim,

glad to hear the project is finally coming along

apart from the off set the fitment is the samefor FC + FD.  114mm x 5 stud which is the same as most jap stuff but you will have to play with the offset depending on the width of the wheels and how much clearence you have from your springs.

When do you think it will be done?

Well its taken 7 months before they looked got stuck in, and Tony\'s name is now mud at RXmotors. (its been a bitch & nothing fits & they\'re all fed up & its all Tony\'s fault cos he said it was an easy job etc etc) :D

Changing the subject, I may well be interested in the 17\'s.  Got to shift the 2 sets of 4 stud wheels firth tho!
