i have an rx7!!! was very very very very very sad to see my beloved skyline driving away, but now a proud owner of a uk spec black rx7 fd3s! :)
plenty of bits not right with it - which is good as mostly minor, so gives me something to work on.. thats what i did with the skyline too.
so, anyone near perth by any chance have a pfc commander i could borrow to check what map is on the pfc? i want to make sure its on its base map before i fit it.

yeup.. got jims.. there are some wierd sounds coming from the engine which i guess may be the rotary sound?? ah well.. seems to run ok - very f***in\' loud! need a bug for the nurspec exhaust as well.....
that would be great if i could borrow it when you are next here! btw, do i need to cut any wires to fit the pfc in the uk car like the us ones????

You need to let the ecu go through the learning process, if you let me know your email I can forward the installation guide and the manual to you. Good to see another further up north, there isn\'t that many up this way.

yeah, just installed it.. think a map is on thre already as it was ideling real nice. lots of pops and bangs still...

time to install the earthing kit, and the gauges. just installed an old blitz bov as well as the ssqv one ;)
ecu is now in, runs quite well.. need instructions on fitting the earthing kit tho - where do all the 6 wires go??
also, can i borrow that commander asap? ta!
