I have a strange knock that I hope someone may have experienced something similar and give me some idea where to start looking.
I have an intermittent knocking from the rear end that doesn\'t seem related to bumps, braking, in gear or out.
It\'s not consistent in rhythm or noise and only seems at low speed, although I guess it could be happening at higher speed and I just can\'t hear it.
The one governing factor is that it only starts to happen when the car is warmed up, it\'s perfect for at least 10 -15 miles.
The only thing I\'ve done recently is to change the rear pads.
So where do I start ?
Regards
John
I had the same problem, check your exhaust, mine use to knock on the tow eye after a good ragging when it was nice and hot due to expansion

Silly question, but did you line up the pin on the rear of the pads with the groove on the side of the rear piston on the calliper?
That\'s not as silly as it sounds, I\'m sure on one side - I wonder.
Thanks for the thought I\'ll check
