Hi
I know I have asked this before but the break light started to work so I never bothered to deal with it, now my right break light does not work and I have no clue how to take the cover off with out breaking something…can someone please tell me in detail how to change the sodding bulb?
Regards,
Michaelb
Unscrew the three screws on the plastic cover above the light unit. The light unit will then \'pop\' out if you pull it directly out. It has clips that hold it on. You can then unscrew the bulb holders.

Thanks for the info
Which way do I pull it out ? It does not fall out on it\'s own..

you should be able to slide the light out sideways away from the centre brake light :Thumbs-up
Thanks chaps
I have done it !!!!! Originally it took me 2 hrs and I finally gave up…
Now I have to buy the right bulb, at the moment I have swapped some bulbs to at least have breaks on both sides.
Despite one being in the centre on the left hand side light and the other being first from the centre on the right hand light (if it makes any sense to you…)
Are all the bulbs the same apart from the indicator one?
J.j How are you mate…how is the car? Is all well?

just head down to your local halford, they even have them in the book. all the brake light bulbs are the same for all gen 3s.
not too bad mate, car\'s almost done. went out for a quick mapping session today with jaydee and found out my car\'s doing better than i\'d been expected :InLove

I am glad the car is fine...I was shocked how nice your paint worked looked at R4...You must have polished the car all day (LOL) or was it a re-spray?
I will go to halfords tomorrow - an excuse to take the car for a spin..
