im thinking about buying a xs power ic, are they good.......
and do they fit

i know what they look like, im just wondering if there hard to fit, ie do u need to make your own brackets,,,,,and is it gonna blow up my new engine hehe
i meant an idea of what people think as many have asked the same.
fitting is tricky but there are a dew on different cars, jimrx7 for example.
it wont blow your engine unless you set your fueling etc wrong.
basically you get what you paid for and the general consensus is poor.

my advice and probably many others will be its something worth spending good money on as results will follow but you may want a bhp figure in your head then ask on here about how to achieve as rx7s are like no other car at all. fueling etc is very delicate so you cannot upgrade things like exhaust intake - filters or IC\'s without some planning or consideration of fueling.
just get advice before your do anything and you will get great results and your engine will remain spot on. cant stress enough how many people get carried away or dont realise the unique factor of an rx7 and pay the cost which is usually alot.

XS hassle id say... getting the IC to fit can sometimes be a pain as Ive now watched 2 people from here fit them and have a hard times....intake temperatures with them arent exactly that good either...

I have to say i\'ve never had a moments trouble with mine, fitment was a bit tricky, had to adjust the length of the standard elbow but then everthing was fine. Once fitted it reduced pressure loss, i went from 11 to 13-14 psi at the manifold so it made me a happy bunny. But it does seem that my experience does differ from mosts, HTH
I have one on my fd, fitting was ok, it has no brackets though, it has little effect on temps ive tried ducting and no ducting, i think the stock intercooler works better mines coming off to fit a front mount.
I have one on mine aswell. I did not use the pipes it came iwth instead i made my own and own brackets.
i have little duckting at the moment but i am playing about with some and also fitting a fam to it (just for experimental reasons)
I have an XS Power IC and all the pipework (including silicon couplers and t-clamps) for sale if you\'re interested? How does £50 plus postage sound?
It\'s in perfect condition. I just removed it as I\'m taking the car back to completely stock ;).

Yes thats something i wondered, would fitting kenlowe fan strapped on to the intercooler improve cooling
well instead of buying a kenlowe fan, I went and got a 2nd hand fiesta RS turbo fan that fits perfectly . just have to be bothered to wire it up.
guno be blunt and honest - XS POWER products are not for a car like an RX7. maybe a honda civic. lol. jus wait and purchase the GReddy M SPEC cooler thats cheap and chearful.
