Title: advice on my fc drag engine
Post by: stuart wizy on August 22, 2007, 09:25:09 PM
first of all which way do the inserts go in the primary injector bores on the intermediate plate? Ive got firstly the inserts with a dirctional shape to fire the fuel in the correct direction, on top of these ive got a plasic coller with 2 o rings on it then ive got the injector sat inside this coller.
The injectors dont feel very tight at all in these collers im sure ive got something missing, anyone any ideas ??, there seems to be loads of side play and the injectors seem to be seated to low down.

next question is do I block the water outlet from rotor housing into lim? Ive made blocking plates for the 2 water outlets on the outside of the lim so the flow of water from rotor housing cant go anywhere.

cheers

There should be a rubber spacer that fits over the plastic on the bottom of the injector, about 5mm thick.
May as well weld up the holes in the rotor housing, you don\'t need hot water in the inlet manifold.
