Title: Gear Knob\'s (Where did you get yours)

I see there have been a few of these posts but none of them with any links to shops who see them.
 
I have a crapy chrome gear knob which comes off easy - now this scares me as if i\'m flat out then i think its going to cause a little problem!
 
So I want Screw in only and Black leather - ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET ONE??
 
The 5 speed rx8 is nice :)

Managed to get a me a 5 speed RX8 one, loverly ;)

That was a lucky eBay win, I don\'t think they come up often and can go for £80+ normally IIRC...

A Mazda dealer should be able to source a 5-speed for you.  I bought one from another rotary owner, cost £30 if I remember correctly.

Yes mate my mum has it on her import 210 rx8 - but she said F**k off when i said i wanted it hehe

Obviously you have to be paitent and wait for them to come on! They sometimes go for as little as £10

Mine doesn\'t and didn\'t seem to have any kind of wiring to support that at all...

I think it\'s an optional extra direct from mazda. I saw one go on ebay for £100 :eek:

you can get ones that light up, I got a 5 speed from someone which wasn\'t light up
either way be warned they get very hot if the car\'s been sitting in the sun all day (not that that\'s much of an issue at the moment :( )

I\'ve not seen one that I like better than the standard one. The overall weight and feel of it is just right. I got a new FD one through crescent from a Yahoo auction. Overall cost was about £25 and it looks far better than the ripped one that was on there before. If you want I will try and search out a link.

I have a Greddy Chrome one Rob but they r dangerous in my eyes - can come off easy!!

The guy doesn\'t seem to have any FD ones for sale at the moment. Here is a link for the stuff he has got. With any luck he\'ll put FD\'s ones up for auction sometime soon and hopefully this link will still work when he does.
