Title: Help with R33 Fuel Pump or Supra one
Post by: gmogle on August 20, 2007, 07:30:59 PM
Hi guys,

Me again on the subject of fuel pumps.

I have narrowed my choice down to 2, the Supra TT one or the R33 Fuel pump but have a few questions.

1) I have seen the R33 fuel pump mentioned as an Apexi one, my Skyline owning friends say the standard isnt an Apexi one. Have you got a part number please ?

2) What sort of horsepower will the Supra one do up to ? I only have twin setup at the mo with 4 * 850 injectors and boost at 0.9 bar but hoping to upgrade to a single next year and dont wanna fork out on another fuel pump.

3) Which is cheapest ?

4) If I manage to get a secondhand one of either what other bits will I need ?

5) Is there a fitting guide for doing this ?

All advice would be great,

Cheers,
Gareth

I was thinking about getting an Apexi GTR R33 pump for mine, but it was soooooooooo expensive I ended up going for a SARD 280 LPH pump, which I got off RHD Japan for £115...

I think this pumps more than an Apexi and the Supra pump

I haven\'t had it fitted yet though, so I don\'t know if this is true. I have been reliably informed that this pump does fit the FD.

Mate I sent you that link yesterday - it contains loads of info.

The Supra denso pump comes with clear fitting instructions. It will support over 400 rwhp on a rex. Read Robbie\'s thread on FDUK.

gonzoninja - the Supra pump does just under 280 lph (tested at 277 I think) but the skyline pump is over 300.
