Title: Microtech + Profec + Boost Gauge
Post by: paul3944 on August 18, 2007, 04:29:44 PM
Hi All,

I am looking at fitting a mechanical boost gauge to the FC.
I have a Vac hose going to the Microtech and has a Profec B plumbed onto this line as well.
Can i put a second "T" on this for the gauge or will it mess up the Microtech or Profec B.
I want to cut down on running lots of hoses in the engine bay :3gears-lh

Many thanks
Paul

I would personally run another Vac hose to the ECU and use the hose with the t in for the gauge and Profect, But i can\'t see why you couldn\'t split it again? at least if there is a problem, e.g. a Pipe comes off everything will go off (gauge etc) and it will be very Noticable.

I run a mechanical gauge and Profec B Spec II off the same hose - but I used the hose that came with the gauge, not the profec - as it\'s bore is condsiderably wider.

Not had any real problems at all.
