Title: oil leak near turbo
Post by: ttpower on August 17, 2007, 11:05:59 AM
Took my turbos off today as the exhaust was blowing v.baddly as i hadnt fitted gaskets inbetween the turbos and manifold. As i was taking them off, noticed oil dripping from the gasket area\'s including the downpipe as well(quite a bit was splattered over the top area of my downpipe as well). The oil seems to be predominantly coming from the 2nd turbo area, turbo closest to the bulk head. Any idea what this could be. I have checked the shafts and they seem fine. Just to note that im running a non-sequential setup, could it pour oil if the wastegate wasnt opening?? or could it be something else?? seemed to affecting it starting up properly as well. Guessing the oil is feeding back into the engine? could it have something to do with the gaskets. Just the amount of oil dripping is quite worrying.??? oil doesnt seem down in the sump either.

HELP!!! :(
