Hi all, I\'m looking for a post-99 car and have seen this one on the web...
http://www.autobaseuk.com/bin/findcar.dll?site=autobaseuk&idno=MAGM01000460 (http://www.autobaseuk.com/bin/findcar.dll?site=autobaseuk&idno=MAGM01000460)
Its a long way from home so I\'d appreciate any info you might have on it before I go and see it?
It was imported in April 2004. (I know its expensive but there don\'t seem to many cars of this age/mileage about).
Many thanks
Steve
Its been for sale for well over a year, was at £17K May/June 2006.
I did hear that it looked that it had done more than 7K miles.
Jon.
I appreciate the response Jon.
I\'m told the clocks now show the guts of 9k (in miles) and that the BIMTA certificate supports the low mileage (km) at the time the car was brought in - i guess i just need to see it in the flesh to see if it all stacks up.
Steve
That was up for sale before I even had my first FD about 3 years ago. Looks like it was imported in April 2004 and has be up for sale ever since!
I can\'t get the link to work but if its the same one i\'m thinking about (blue with gold wheels) then I agree with kermit, I\'m sure the asking price was £21k at one point too.
Barry
Cheers for the input guys.
Sounds like its well known (Barry - it has new wheels on it which aren\'t gold, though I don\'t know what it was riding on when it came in?)
The dealer tells me he has used it as his own car since import, which I suppose would make sense as to why it has been for sale for 3 years!
I\'m flying over to see the car on Saturday - I\'ll put up some pictures if I decide its for me!
Thats been up for sale for almost 4 yrs as i saw that when i was looking for the Purple RX i had :Nono!
Go and view and see what its like, its been over priced in the past hence why no one has bought it i think :Laugh

With only 9k on the clock he hasn\'t used it much in 3/4 years. be careful something doesn\'t add up here. Given the amount of money you might be spending on this and if you like what you see I\'d suggest paying a specialist to take a look for you before you part with the money.
Kevin
Mileage has always been the same - I too saw it over 3 years ago on the inter web. I just wonder why the guy has used it himself over the last 3 or so years but the mileage remains the same?

Thanks Kevin - that\'s my plan. I\'m happy going to see it to determine whether its condition is commensurate with the mileage. If it does (and I like it) its not too far from Rotechniks...
I\'m very close to Rotechnics and have a blue 99 rex for sale for 9.5k, its done 48,000 miles but has had a rebuild only 5,000 miles ago.
piccies are on the for sale section.

Dave I\'ve been through the 3rd Gen for sale section and must be blind (or I\'m too new to this board to find it!)
I can only see one 99 car for sale and it isn\'t yours - have you a link?
Sorry fella,
it\'s on the \'submit cars for sale\' thread.

Can\'t remember how MRC operates, you may not be able to view it for a week.
Still waitring for my membership confirmation e-mail to be sent to me, I can forward some piccies if you still can\'t see it.
Dave
Dave I can\'t access the link.
I\'ve texted you my email address if you could send me some pic\'s + info.
Cheers
Hi Steve,
All the info has been sent to you.
Dave
Magnum are not rotary experts.
Rotechnics are busy boys. You will need to book them beforehand.
The car is not stock. Lookfor a £5k reduction at least considering what good known cars are being sold for.
